Dispensational Truth: God’s Plan and Purpose in the Ages
This large-format book of Clarence Larkin’s intensive premillennial, pre-Trib teachings, accompanied by dozens of his famous charts and diagrams, first appeared in 1918 and was the result of 30 years of prophetic study and research. Larkin (who was an engineer by profession rather than a theologian) embraced some controversial views (like the somewhat eccentric notion that the ancient Egyptian pyramid at Giza was built by Job and intended to be prophetically symbolic—a view based at least in part on flawed data); otherwise, though, 21st century readers will find the bulk of this book (and its extensive graphics) helpful and illuminating.
